RAIN!!!

Well 2025 didn't get off to a very good start. Today it has rained and rained and rained. It has also been very windy. Ann was thinking of doing the New Year's Day swim but it got cancelled for H&S reasons so that was the end of that. Not that she would have done it in this weather anyway.


We walked along the beach first thing and were practically the only people there. Mmmmm.......... it would appear that all the holiday maker doggies were having a lie in, cos it's actually been quite busy the last couple of days. Either that or other doggies don't go out in the rain.
Late morning I went for another walk and it was raining so hard that Ann wore her dry robe. Yes I know she's been moaning all week about people walking their pooches in their dry robes and PJs, but seriously, it was the only thing that kept her relatively dry and her anorak was still soaking wet from my first thing in the morning walk. This afternoon I went for a play in the field, (before Ann went to work) and it was still raining. And then Ann got soaked walking to work.

When I get wet, my fur turns ever so dark. It's like my top layer of fur is the colour in this Blip and the underneath bit of my fur is black, so that when I'm wet I look like a tri coloured Collie.

Fortunately by the time Ann finished work at 8pm it had stopped raining, so at least she managed to walk home without getting wet. And guess what?................... Our weather app is showing good weather for the next couple of days and Ann has two days off so she's promised me that we will go off and have an adventure together. Yay!
