Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Back!

Happy New Year everyone.
We've had a lovely day today.
Both families arrived at about 11 and we had another present opening, something for everyone but mainly focusing on Bonnie's birthday.
She seems to have grown up so much over the last 3 weeks and has definitely sussed out present opening. This was her opening a dungaree set from Joyce which was greeted with a squeal I've never heard from her before. She was very happy too with the doll I had bought her, the one I bought Josie is a firm favourite and we're hoping for similar success with this one. Josie's is called Baby, I think this one may have to be Dolly!
Eilidh and Isobel had a great time playing with Josie who was thrilled to see her big cousins. We all sat down to the delicious bargain sirloin I bought in Morrisons the other day. I doubt it I'll be having anything else to eat today - I didn't even have a large portion and an absolutely full.
My lovely son in law washed up the pots and everything is safely put away again.
Colin and I are set for a quiet evening, the older girls are arriving at 8 tomorrow morning, I hope to be awake! It's cold out there tonight, I went to move the car into the driveway just before 6pm and discovered it was 0° . It's been wet and cold today and the sleet this morning turned to very wet snow at times. Hopefully that won't return overnight
Once again Happy New Year to all in Blipland, may 2025 be good to you.
