Happy New Year to everyone!

This is an emergency blip. I hadn’t been outside all day, mainly due to the weather. At the moment as I was thinking what on earth can I post for a photo I decided to step outside the front door and stand on the pavement to take a photo of our road.
This afternoon I was feeling a bit off and then wondered if it was the effect of the jab I had yesterday.
So the New Year begins.
Our son popped in earlier with our youngest granddaughter to “bring in the New Year”
The rest of the family were still recovering from a late night with friends. The first time the grandchildren have been up till after midnight.
And our youngest one not affected, at 5 years old, effusively telling us all about how much she had loved the latest “Wallis and Grommit” amongst other things.
Then still had time to have a short session of hide and seek! She’s always loved doing that here.
“Grandad” of course was the hardest to find, hidden in the walk-in wardrobe in our room.
I was obviously incapacitated somewhat!
