A walk on the field paths. New Year’s Day.

Happy New Year one and all!
We set off this morning initially in the sunshine to go to Sutton Park, but when we got there it was absolutely crammed with cars and people so we left and opted to walk the field paths which surround our outer urban area.
It was a good choice!
Sunshine.
Peace and quiet under a beautiful sky.
Sheep.
Breathing space!
I love it out there,
By the time we were on our way home again the sky was clouding over.
I sorted out the bird feeders once we were back again, and had an inspection of the garden.
Already signs of some bulbs peeping through the soil, and another of my hellebores has some buds.
Lots of weeding will be needed in the beds eventually as this winter has been mainly wet!
But for now it can stay as it is!
And the rain has begun once more outside, mid afternoon,
