E.B. New Year’s Eve.

We were at an excellent 40th birthday party today of one of our friends, back home early evening for an appointment at our local medical practice, for my asthma review.
All good. The nurse also gave me an RSV jab against pneumonia and respiratory problems, having ascertained that I hadn’t had one. It’s for the 75’s - 79 yr olds. I’d had the flu and Covid jabs before I went into hospital in November.
The 40th party was in two halves. 12.00-17:00h and then 20.00-midnight, for the younger element!
Plus dancing..We could choose…..so here we are by a cosy fire with dinner almost ready and the wind howling round outside. Well no contest really! ;-)
Some parts of the country are already having really bad weather with big events cancelled.
In the meantime the old year is slipping away.
