New project!

It’s actually quite lovely not having to stop what I am working on to make space for doing the market baking! I am making the most of the next few weeks to get some projects done.
This is going to be Wendy’s birthday present, a quilted jacket. People of a certain generation may recognise the style of a Clothkits garment? They are reprinting some old favourites, and this is a jacket with little farm friends in each pocket.
The pattern requires the wadding to be quilted to the outer, before the lining is cut out….rather an unusual method but I have overcome the problems of fibres getting into the machine by underlaying it with paper. It does slow things down a bit, but seems to be working well.
I have until mid January!
