Crumpets

That band of rain has moved away from us, leaving our ground very saturated. We had a walk up Beehive Lane, some big puddles!
There are noticeable signs of buds swelling on some trees but I hope the cold snap will hold them up. Our plum tree is definitely looking like it wants to blossom and that would be a really bad thing.
I made a batch of crumpets this afternoon so I’m obviously getting over the food overload of last week!
