Crow Patrol

Between the fog and rain our Christmas Eve snow is quickly disappearing. It will likely be gone by morning but at least the sun will be shining before more rain moves in for New Year’s • While working on a puzzle I heard multiple crows squawking outside so I grabbed my camera and stood on the step to watch. They continued to sound the alarm of a nearby predator while meticulously patrolling overhead. I figured it was the same hawk as our previous two sightings, although I did not see him. Unfortunately the heavy rain kept me from exploring further into the yard. Three of the crows soon gathered in this tree, still on high alert, while the other two flew out of sight • That’s about all the excitement here today :) • Peace & Love
