Soup’s On

I confess I didn’t make potato-leek soup on Christmas day as planned but I did make it today. It’s on the stove anxious for us to dig in :) • A new puzzle is underway • Mr and Mrs Downy Woodpecker flew in together for a suet snack but it was Mister who took to the feeder first. Mrs DW patiently waited her turn on a nearby branch • Rain is due to begin soon. We’re sorry to see the snow leave but will not be sorry to see the year come to a close • Bring on the New Year!
