Oh it was very blowy out. We blew along to Newhaven, to the Fish Market, as we were treating the daughter and family to a slap up feast. As long as it was fish and chips. Though they could have as many Christmas cocktails as they wished. And it was a fine event - small boy is getting a bit easier - though at one point I had to take him out for a look at the harbour as he was in need of a stretch of his legs (extra: he has a sore eye).
Home to view the second part of In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon. Quite excellent. American Tune is a fine song, is it not. What else did we watch of late? Kevin Bridges: The Overdue Catch-Up from Cork was (mostly) absolutely brilliant. Clever, clever stuff. Only Child with Gregor Fisher? Dire. Avoid.
There’s been too much football on this blip of late. Because we’ve fallen to the bottom of the league of course. Crisis, innit. So it was gratifying to see the boys 2-0 up away at Ross County as we entered eight minutes of additional time. Only eight minutes because the officials had made such an erse of their VAR reviews. Six minutes into that time still 2-0 and we’re pretty much home and dry with all three points, eh?*
