Kingston Riverside!

I had forgotten it was my 5  years blip anniversary as not 1st January. Thanks for all comments yesterday.

This morning I went to Kingston when the shops opened at 11. Very gloomy going across the bridge. This Santa has been there for a while but I think it must be blown up each day as one day last week it was not there…maybe punctured?!

I popped into one shop and bought a jacket I had seen yesterday in Oliver Bonas at Waterloo where they did not have my size..…half price in the sale! Then I did a cycle ride along the river to Hampton Court and back through Bushy Park. Lots of people out for walks despite the gloom and lots skating on the ice rink at Hampton Court. Lots of dogs wearing pretty coats!

Despite it being so cold I did some tidying in the garden, sweeping up leaves etc and planted some primroses in containers. Then I got my sewing machine out and did a couple of repair and hemming jobs.

Now to watch some of the TV programmes I have recorded. Last night watched the new Downton Abbey film which was good.
