Brayford Blip

This morning I was up relatively early for this time of year. Brian was sleeping loudly soundly and I knew my chances of going back to sleep after doing Minstrel's breakfast were slight.

I sat downstairs wearing two dressing gowns and under two throws for warmth and caught up with Blip. Minstrel eschewed my lap in favour of his new preferred place - on top of the Sky box, behind the Christmas tree. I suppose as a house cat it's the nearest he can get to climbing a proper tree.

I've been into town to collect my prescription today. I stocked up on vitamins too, also toothpaste, both of which had good discounts. And I treated myself to Subway for lunch. I have some leftovers from yesterday for tea so that's another day I don't have to cook!

Before coming home I went to the Brayford for my Blip since it was beautiful clear sunlight. It looked best from the far side.

Before Christmas I got a couple of Christmas puddings which I still haven't eaten. Problem is, just about nowhere has any of the brandy cream left to go with them!

Going to spend the rest of the day reading and watching sport now.
