Christmas Morning

A view across the marsh today, into the dark trees beyond, where a small conifer thicket grows. The sun was very bright this morning and the contrasts strong. Took the opportunity for a walk in the fresh air whilst I could, knowing later on would be difficult, given what day it is.

I liked the bright orange reeds set against the snow, made more so by the contrasting shadows behind.
