We Have Mail!

..at last....through rain, sleet, and snow, Canada Post delivers, but not during a postal strike! And what timing....Christmas? Geez. 

I had not realized how much making and mailing Christmas cards and receiving Christmas cards was such an important part of my Christmas experience...I really missed that!  

And then there was the challenge for all those who mail parcels! Yikes....It will take some time before they get through the backlog of mail, but at least some of it is trickling through! 

I still anxiously await my annual hand-made card from Kent and my FRANCE magazine, but it won't long now...I hope. 

Boxing Day was pretty much a non-event here at my house...No rushing out, as in the old days, to grab bargains at all the sales...I just don't have the energy for that these days ..nor do I feel the need to buy things! I thought that day might never come..but today I could not think of a single thing that I wanted to stand in line to buy.... It may be a temporary condition, but for now I will  just relax here with the cat and enjoy all the stuff I already have!
