Had a bit of a lie-in then did some kitchen sorting etc and changed my bedlinen before sorting out some leftovers from yesterday for Dad. My hyacinths peaked a day late but still nice to see- the kitchen smells lovely! Drove over to Mansfield, collecting him on the way and trying to clean his fireplace . He had a new fire fitted recently which is smaller than the old one and so there are some dirty marks on the stone. I was partially successful. We drove to G and Cs for the traditional turkey curry . It was good to see J there, and to catch up with L (my nephew’s partner).
Got a bit caught up with football traffic in the last part of my journey home- though I’d left late enough to avoid it all. One of the cats was sick during the evening- hope it’s nothing serious
