What a horrible grey damp day. It was foggy all day. Had a quiet morning reading and finishing clearing up from my culinary and hosting efforts yesterday and the day before. Popped over to Js after lunch to exchange presents but forgot to take him some leftover dessert, so will need to go back tomorrow . Called into the supermarket and to collect cat food on the way home. Brought some cat food in from the shelter and realised the boxes were wet- maybe the roof is leaking? Made spicy parsnip soup snd stripped the turkey when I got home
