Light on the Horizon

We were up and out early this morning to get our morning walk done while it was still quiet. Although we walked in mizzly weather, there was a beautiful light on the horizon out at sea.

The Brent geese bobbed around in flocks on the water. Every so often a group of them would take off into the sky, calling noisily to each other, circle around and land in a nearby field. It was fascinating to watch. Other than the birds, it was silent and still.

This afternoon while Andy watched the football, I made bread and tried to figure out how to work the sewing machine - I think I need to watch some videos to follow along with.

I can’t believe it is Friday tomorrow!
