Big Bird Box

Today we’ve been preparing for a visit from my sister and her family. They aren’t here for a few more days yet but we wanted to sort out the menu as both my niece and nephew have food allergies. After liaising with my sister we have a plan! We’ve also been deciding what to eat on New Year’s Eve - it will be just the two of us but wanted something special. Then there’s been some planning for a holiday in early summer next year and some research on how to work our sewing machine - although I’ll need to dedicate more time to that another day.

Apologies as all I seem to be blipping recently are grey landscapes but it’s the reality of December in our part of the world. In today’s photo you may be able to spot the barn owl nest box that’s just been installed.
