New Buds

It's been mostly 'tidying up' at  home this morning.  During a leisurely lunch I noticed that the mist was coming down, and with the anticipation of M watching a football match on the TV, I made a snap decision to pop over to Sheringham Park for a walk in the misty late afternoon light.

It was very dull so photos were difficult but I did like this newly emerged furry bud which has trapped the falling moisture.  Despite it being cool and misty I enjoyed the pockets of solitude with the sound of dripping trees around me.  There were families about for a walk but I managed to lose them by leaving the main path.

The extra is of the gate that leads to the path that takes one down (eventually) to Weybourne railway station.
