The Blue Tits
Firstly, happy Christmas to you all.
B and I walked along the esplanade at Sheringham this morning. There were a lot of folk out and about, dog-walkers, families and the local swimming club 'The Blue Tits'...what a great name!
They were having a wonderful time, singing and dancing in the rather unappealing, chilly-looking North Sea. Wild swimming must be as good for you as the experts say, as all those that I've seen always look so happy. Although I admired them greatly, I was glad to be wrapped up in a warm coat and hat.
I seem to have rather a lot of extras left, so I've added a photo of a juvenile gull. The day was very gloomy so difficult to get a photo that stands out. Nevertheless, it's a rather handsome gull.
Now M and I are looking forward to our roast duck Christmas dinner. This will be the first time we've had Christmas in our newly converted dining room, so we've enjoyed laying out a festive table with candles and a seasonal festive floral arrangement, as per a previous blip:
