Old friends

Catherine came over to see us with her husband Didier and their son Lilian. She is an ex colleague of Mme MB's and I've known her for as long as I've known Mme MB, so about 28 years. She was also one of the witnesses at our wedding back in 2022.
Recently her first husband passed away, who I knew too back then, so we decided to celebrate her birthday here today.
We had a lovely afternoon and I opened and shared a bottle of red the parents of one of my students gave me for Christmas. It certainly helped my French. LOL
Hopefully we'll see them again for my birthday in January.
