The course at Higham Hall running concurrently with Carols for Everyone was Focus on Gesso. The tutor gave me some in a jam jar to take home and experiment with. Nursing a cold and not feeling like doing very much it seemed the perfect way to spend an afternoon. I had forgotten that you are supposed to leave it overnight before you start messing around with whatever media you have at hand. To be continued in the morning.
