Es i i Tesco ar bump o'r gloch y bore. Roedd y tywydd yn rhewi. Roedd Tesco yn llawn o staff a bron yn wag o gwsmeriaid. Prynais i'r pethau yr oedd eu hangen arnom ac yna seiclo adre.

Mae gen i ddamcaniaeth mai archfarchnad Tsieineaidd yw Tesco. Platiau, cwpanaid, soseri, cerameg i gyd - yn dod o Tsiena. Matiau bwrdd - Tsiena. Yn y cyfamser, Jîns o Bacistan, llodrau isaf o Slofacia. Sosbenni ffrio o Ffrainc. Tybed o ble mae'r rhan fwyaf o bethau yn dod? Tsiena, byddwn yn betio.

Welais i ddim unrhywbeth wedi gwneud yn y Deyrnas Unedig. Rydw i'n gwybod ein bod ni’n gwneud pethau yn y Deyrnas Unedig (cafodd fy jîns eu gwneud yn Aberteifi, fy llodrau isaf yn Nhredegar Newydd!), ond ni fyddech yn gwybod os mai dim ond i Tesco yr aethoch.

Rydw i'n ceisio, yn raddol, prynu mwy o fwy o fy mhethau gwneud yn lleoedd yn y Deyrnas Unedig, Cymru os oed posibl. Mae'n anodd eu ffeindio ond mae'n dda i helpu busnesau yn y gwlad hon a chyflogi mwy o bobol yma.

I went to Tesco at five o'clock in the morning. The weather was freezing. Tesco was full of staff and almost empty of customers. I bought the things we needed and then cycled home.

I have a theory that Tesco is a Chinese supermarket. Plates, cups, saucers, ceramics - all from China. Table mats - China. Meanwhile, Jeans from Pakistan, underpants from Slovakia. Frying pans from France. I wonder where most things come from? China, I'll bet.

I didn't see anything made in the UK. I know we make things in the UK (my jeans were made in Cardigan, my underpants in New Tredegar!), but you wouldn't know it if you only went to Tesco.

I'm trying, gradually, to buy more and more of my things made in places in the United Kingdom, Wales if possible. It is hard to find them but it is good to help businesses in this country and employ more people here.
