Our new TV is here. Yay!

Yesterday evening Ann got an email to tell her that our new TV would be delivered between 10.15am-12.15pm today. At 8.50am this morning she had a phone call to say it would be with us within the next half an hour. Great thought Ann, 'I'll get it before I go to work'. At 9.50am she had another call to say that they were in the car park and could see every house number except ours. Mmmmmm............... Ann went outside onto our walkway to direct them up the steps to our house. There was no delivery van in the car park......................

…............Ann said, 'You're not in my car park so you must be in the wrong place'. They said, 'Is there a white Toyota in the car park?' NO. 'Is there a black Ford in the car park?' NO. Ann said, 'You're not in my car park. If you tell me where you, are I'll direct you to the correct place'. They said, 'We are where the satnav took us.' ….............DUH!!!!!!

Ann resisted the temptation to ask them if they even knew what town they were in said, 'If you tell me which street you are in, I can direct you to my house.' They didn't know which street they were in. Long story short....................... one of them got out of the van and went looking for a street name. Once they told Ann that, she was able to direct them to our house, but even then they drove straight past our car park and had to do a U-turn. My human despairs................. who would have thought (even 20 years ago), that a 'massive UK delivery firm' would employ drivers that have absolutely no knowledge of the geography of the UK, let alone not being able to read a map?????

TV got delivered at about 10am and then our friend, Simon (in this BLIP), popped down to set it up for us. Ann had to leave to go to work, but Simon reported back that I'd been a very good little Collie. We're watching the 'News' atm and all seems good, but we need to check out all the apps and work out just exactly what it can do.

…....................BUT.................... it's here and we love it and it has all the apps on so once we've worked out how it works we can watch catch up TV to our hearts content. YAY!!!!
