The Vyne

Took a trip to the National Trust The Vyne, in Hampshire.  

The Christmas theme this year is Alice through the Looking Glass.  Each room has a Christmas tree decorated different (or upside down on one occasion).  Each room has a “humpty” in them for you to find, that kept hubby and I amused seeing who would find it first.  Great detail has been put into each tree, my favourite one being time.  The steward informed us that his wife had crocheted all of them, they were amazing.  At the end, you could dress up in front of a backdrop and take selfies - couldn’t resist the mad hatter hat.

Leisurely afternoon.  

This evening out for our lace Christmas meal.  Should have been 4 of us but H is moving house tomorrow so a tad busy - sent her the photo of us raising a glass to her.

My mono Monday submission is a tad short if the brief - motion - but I think you can see that there is motion there ……
