Park trip
picked up the boys this morning and took a trip out to Beale Wilslife Park in Pangbourne, Berkshire. It is in its winter season so not looking at its best, but still an enjoyable place to visit.
Summary of the park is:
Beale Wildlife Park was founded in 1956 by Gilbert Beale who created the Child Beale Trust, a charitable organisation, dedicated to the care and conservation of rare and endangered mammals and birds. The Park is a great place to be with fun, adventure, gardens, amazing animals and birds and play areas for all ages.
Started with a train ride, helped to see certain animals that you can’t get to by foot. Then off to explore. Zebras, lemurs, meerkats, lynx, highland cattle, goats, reptiles, tayra, owls and many more to see in the park. Stopped for lunch - boys had packed lunch (plus a warm sausage roll), whist we tried the Christmas bagel - very tasty.
Lots of activities for the boys - inflated pillow, large play areas, zip wire and a few metal statues for sitting on.
I know it’s not Silly Saturday but captured grandad being silly ……
