Photographer In The Wild, Burham
Today was mine and my brother's Christmas do. We decided we warranted it as we do all the cooking and buying of provisions in our household for Christmas so we thought we deserved a Sunday off before the big day itself. We had turkey will all the trimmings at the Red Bull in Eccles. The food was delicious and, of course, we had to wash it down a pint each.
Afterwards, we headed towards the old part of Burham and walked past St.Mary's church to a bend in the river where there is a raised grass bank and thick reed beds and that's where I took this picture of my brother, the photographer in the wild! I'm so glad we now share a love of photography and can go on our micro trips and local safaris together. I've now got used to him disappearing off to capture his own wonderful images, something I used to do on a regular basis before he joined me in my camera based activities. I find it so fascinating that we can go to the same place yet come back with completely different pictures. He sees in a way that I don't and vice versa and this just adds the joy of sharing a passion.
