Iced Daisy
A bitterly cold day. Cloudy too. Cloud would normally result in a fast melt, but this is a freezing mist. Going out for a walk, on my own again, being well wrapped up was essential. Frost covered not only the grass, but trees as well. This frost covered daisy is the last colour in the wild flower garden.
The cloud starts clearing in the afternoon. By the time is does clear, the sun has set, and the temperature plummets once more. The orange glow to the west is not as intense as yesterday. Walking back through the main park, the frost on the grass has an almost luminous quality. We did spot a fox on the path, but the exposure time was too long, and I have a photo showing unintentional camera movement.
