Last rays of sunlight

A lovely day with blue skies. Rare at the best of times in Scotland, but with the sun setting at 15:40, have to make the best of it. Partner is out Christmas shopping while I am out at work. I do have a Christmas haircut at 11:15, but it doesn't take long. In the sun, it felt very pleasant on the morning walk. In the park, a robin was hopping around the branches just in front of me. There was a nice view of Edinburgh Castle. However, the very clear views of mountains are now very much a hazy memory.

After work, a quick walk to a view point to enjoy the last orange rays of the sun. Photo  of a clear view looking towards Warklaw Hill was captured from the top of the park. Walk home along Cockmylane. Along the way the frost was quickly forming on grass. But with the clear skies, it was of no surprise. Feels a lot colder than the 0degC the MetOffice has forecast.
