Christmas Sweater Day
Fortunately Ann didn't make me go out looking like this. I don't like my Christmas Sweater. I'm a rufty tufty little Collie who doesn't need to wear clothes. However, Ann said if I posed for my Blip in my Christmas sweater she would give me a whole carrot. I like carrots!
Actually, I've been quite hungry over the last few days and Ann isn't really sure why. It's not even as though I've been getting lots of exercise. Take today, for example. I went for my normal morning walk along the beach and around the town so that 'nosey Ann' could check out what was happening. Ann likes my morning walk because there's always someone to talk to as we tend to go out roughly at the same time. Late morning we popped up to the local shop and then I had a play in the field. And then this afternoon I went for a walk along the lane.
We couldn't go too far today because Ann has bought a new TV and we've had to wait in for it to be delivered. ........It hasn't been delivered. Grrrrrr.................. On the tracker thingy it says that it should be arriving by 8pm this evening. It also says it's been dispatched but isn't out for delivery yet. And the problem with doing everything online, is that there is never, ever, an option to talk to a real live person. (Is anyone else going to watch, ''The school that banned smartphones' - 8pm, Channel 4 tonight? Sounds like a really interesting experiment!) Ann will be really annoyed if she has to spend all day waiting in for it again tomorrow. Usually if she is expecting a parcel, she just puts a note on the door saying, 'please leave by door'. We're at the end of an upstairs walkway so it's not like anyone would know it was there. It's a bit different with a TV though as it's obviously a lot more expensive than the £9.99 swim gloves that she had delivered yesterday. And what is even more annoying.................. her friend, Simon, was going to pop round this evening, after work, and set it all up for us. ..........Grrrrrrrrrr again!!! Oh well, ho hum, at least she managed to get all her Christmas cards written and she's caught up on all her 'soaps' and now she's just about to feed me my dinner and make herself a big pot of chilli.
