Summer in Glasgow

Birthday treat out with daughter at the Merchant City Festival.
We started with a yummy breakfast at the Central Market and then a wee wander about as we made our to collect tickets. In at the city halls lots of women were getting their 'vintage' hairdos and makeup done. The style of some of the ladies around town was brilliant . With both of us having short hair it seemed a bit pointless for us!
Then we had a comedy tour on a vintage, not too vintage, (1972) bus with Ashley and Janey Godley! Glasgow tour with a difference! Really good.
Following this we went to a very disappointing fashion show but when we came out the rain had stopped and there were bright skies.
The theme around was vintage so we perused the vintage market but first had to manoeuvre our way round this big puddle! Reporting Scotland had the big camera with the furry muff all lined up and I just managed my kodak blip opportunity!
Street theatre was excellent also in particular The Wandering Orquestra!
A lovely Mother/ Daughter day out!
