St Olaf's Wynd - not on the Tourist Trail

A lifetime first today as I phoned the plumber whilst I was still in bed.  It’s a slippery slope.  Whilst the Current Mrs Creel was at SCD I tramped around the environs of Kirkwall to test my knee.  I met David, with a trolly full of what seemed to be cholesterol drenched products, and we had a good catch up.  He too has been off the beat but has now rallied and is back to his accordion and gigging.  He said his main inspiration still remains Ruth Underwood and her vibes playing.  He has also been able to resume his lollipop man duties. 


Post dancing CMC whisked me off to an eastern parish  for a superb lunch.   Back at HQ a new batch of fuel had been delivered.
