Sunrise over the 
Gila Mountains is something
so worth waiting for

Shopping in the dark seems to be my favourite 'thing' these days. I left for the grocery store before 6. No coffee. 

My list was rather short and it took little time at all for the groceries. Then I motored on to Walmart in the dark. I couldn't find anything I wanted there. By that time there was light behind the Gilas. 

I found a back road in an undeveloped area to pull over and wait for the sun. People walked by with their dogs. One fellow stopped on the other side of the road to dig out several pails of sand. I wondered what that was for. Too much for just a litter box. A man of my vintage passed me and wished me a good morning. I replied in kind. 

Sunrise seems late even here. I got my shots and was home before 8. 

I will continue with my art endeavours. Somehow I have to get past the pencil to the wash. That's my favourite part adding colour. I have a couple of small experiments to keep me occupied today.
