Not (sorry to disappoint you!) a Gainsborough portrait of Tess, but the name of one of her birthday presents from our friends Tony & Rosie, ensconced on top of the wine rack, appropriately enough!

It’s Tony’s birthday today so we called in this morning with a present for him and ended up staying for coffee before doing the weekly shop.

Managed a quick walk this afternoon before the weather got miserable, heralding the arrival of Storm Darragh. Park Run and Street Christmas Market already cancelled tomorrow and can’t see Yeovil’s home game against local rivals Weymouth in the FA Trophy going ahead either, despite optimistic postings on the club website tonight.
