Turnstones

Before setting off home this morning we had a bracing stroll along the prom to the end of Preston Sands and back. A couple were throwing bird seed to a flock of turnstones who were only too happy to make the most of it.

We’ve been luck with the weather while we’ve been down here but it turned decidedly grey, damp and windy this morning.

Got home early afternoon in time to avoid the worst of the heavy rain.
