The Annual Advent Calendar Blip

It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas.

W is having some surgery today so I had to take her to the hospital in Norwich.  Her initial admission time was 7am but yesterday it was rearranged for 11am which is a bit more civilised, especially as we live an hour's drive away from the hospital.  She was told to take an overnight bag 'just in case' but the plan is that she should be able to come home this evening.  I'm sitting waiting for the call to go and collect her but have no idea when that will be, but the hospital did say they would try and give me an hour's notice so that she isn't having to wait around for me for too long.

I had a feeling the Advent Calendar would get its annual outing on Blip and today seemed like the appropriate day.

(Just had the call to go and collect W; thankfully that means we shouldn't be too late back.)
