Not so fantastic now, Mr Fox!

Many thanks for all the good wishes for W following her surgery yesterday which she really appreciated.  She's in good spirits and thanks to some fairly strong painkillers, not too uncomfortable although it will take a little while to heal up and we have to wait five to six weeks for test results.  The NHS takes a bit of stick but I have to say that W's experience from diagnosis just before we went to India right through to now has been superb.

We managed a short walk after lunch; just along the path through the wood to the main road and back but it was enough.  I spotted this rather sad looking fox propped in a branch of one of the trees; he looks in good condition so maybe fairly new, so I hope he gets claimed soon.
