Still Waiting

The little dog who I featured on 10th October was sitting in the window on Freehold Street again as Basil and I trundled past just after 4pm. This time, he had a Christmas tree for company.

Baz and I were out late because we were taking a parcel for despatch to the newsagents where a young lady told me that the Co-op would deal with it. Not for much longer I fear. The Co-op is scheduled  to close on 7th January. Rather a shame. I like the fact that it's never crowded and sells a wide range of good. But Aldi has moved into town.

Len had managed to cram two Virgin Media routers into the box. VM had never sent packaging for the first one. And there was a dire warning on the instructions that we would be liable for costs if we didn't return them.

The lights in Hallcroft were magical as we trundled through. We'd spotted Colin shooting by on his scooter on his way to The Tap.

The doves have moved their scratting  area nearer to us. They're now at the end of our driveway. See Extra.
