Red on Red
Most of the year, Cotoneaster seems such an insignificant shrub with no outstanding features, until late Autumn when the leaves turn a vibrant brick red, as here.
Took a pair of shoes that, sadly, did not fit, back to the shop on Leicester Road that transmits UPS parcels. In the meantime, Len's Christmas present of Skecher walking shoes arrived. So grateful that they fit.
As soon as I got back from my parcel delivery, I took Basil out for a short trot round the estate which is when we saw this lovely shrub.
