A Sudden Mist

We awoke to sunshine. Len went to play tennis. I idled away the time on my phone. At midday, I realised that visibility was obscured outside. A mist suddenly descended on us, and then cleared within  the hour except in the river valley.

I've no idea what caused it. Did a cloud suddenly descend to Earth?

I coaxed Len into driving to Dobbies. I fancied a plate of ham, eggs and chips, and besides, it was the only place I knew of that had a Christmas present I wanted to buy. When we got there, there were very few items of what I wanted left.

Choir tonight with Tom Stanyard  who gave us a good warm-up and several pertinent points about the carols we are going to sing to his accompaniment in three weeks. He has a lovely voice.

I must take Basil to the vet again tomorrow. He can't put his rear right leg on the ground. It must be hurting. Arthritis?
