Open Wide!

Three hungry Blackbird babies waiting for their oh so attentive Mum & Dad.

The nest is in the hedge around my villa, about waist height and is well protected from the elements, but if I get the right angle, I can get this view - quickly! Mum & Dad are vigilant so I might peek once a day.

Another slow day; more coughing. Missy & I just walked the nearby loop, slowly, and I felt better for it. It’s rained all afternoon so we couldn’t go out any earlier.
