Grain

Wheat,  which unfortunately I can’t eat as I’m a Coeliac but I made a very good bread ‘n’ butter pudding tonight with some gluten free fruit bread and the result was delicious and Mr HB gave it the thumbs up too.
 
A bit drizzly today but not too cold.  We took a trip out to the large St. Katherine’s House Hospice charity Shop in Eccleshall to drop off a big bag of books and assorted once-loved paraphernalia followed by my annual trawl round Waitrose.  I like to have a very slow trawl but Mr HB was not so enamoured so my lovely browse didn’t last that long and anyway his garage rang to say his car was at last ready, so we headed for home to pick it up.

Now I’m very glad I didn’t spend too much in Waitrose as the garage bill was eye-watering.
