Dove

Chilly and bright was the order of the day and after surviving the menial tasks I went up to the Farm for a walk round the lovely trails.  Lots of birds around and a small litter of piglets too.  Loved this elegant Collared Dove waiting patiently for me to vacate the area so she could get some much needed food.
 
My Countryfile Calendar arrived today and it’s as gorgeous as ever.  My favourite photo is for July:  ‘Coming in to land’ by Michael Delderfield.  Puffins in Lunga, Argyll and Bute.  No Hares this year though.
