Our Christmas Tree.

The Feast Day of Saint Chromatius. A 4th century saint, born in Italy and died 406AD. He was a bishop and theologian.

I hope you like my Christmas tree collage today. We bought it from Oswaldtwistle Mills about three years ago but it has remained strong and beautiful as we put it up each year. The cats sometimes sit under it but haven't attempted to climb up it. The ornaments are old but full of family memories. It is a source of joy and good cheer while it is very cold, damp and rainy today. It is torrential at times then calms down before repeating the cycle. The poor lawn is very saturated.

Monday is wash day, so I have been doing our washing and drying clothes on the electric dryer. I don't know how we would cope without the drier and space to use it.
Both cats are napping which is great. If the weather is rainy they tend to get a bit restless and start pouncing and chasing about at high speed. Their kitten nature takes over! Holly growls at Hunter. If he gets too playful, she hides under a small stool, where he can't reach her. She has another safe space behind the television shelving in the conservatory. Thankfully they don't fight very much.

I am waiting for a parcel that is due this afternoon. It is an LED flicker flame candle from www.pietystall.co.uk. it takes three triple A batteries but they last a long time. They are much safer than lit candles with having energetic cats in the house.

I hope you have a pleasant day blip friends and thank you for visiting my site today.
