Visiting Dervaig Community Orchard
A houseful of cats today, six. Purrfectly acceptable, it is many years since caring for this number. Grey boy has settled in as only he can, this afternoon he is getting to know kitty, not all plain sailing however nothing the little one can’t handle. The grey fellow is a gentle soul, for all his long wanderings and coping with the big wide world he is a softy.
The new colours for the CP gazebo were on show today, purple. The Community Orchard organised one of their splendid events for locals, the weather was wet, a variety of cover was required. When visiting I had a feeling of contentment when walking through the pine branches decorated with pretty baubles, a loud hum of voices could be heard coming from undercover where food and drinks could be had. A lovely atmosphere with a chat with blipper Boomerang and two mutual friends who are organising a birthday lunch a few days before Christmas. Excellent.
Along the road from here in the opposite direction was a craft fair selling work made by local artists, I called in this morning to take a look, buy a few goodies and chat over a coffee. Basically I have put off sorting out the muddle from our visit to Oban in recent days, it needs to be ready for another visit on Friday. Best done when feeling a little more sprightly.
When writing this kitty Ted was sat in my knee and Grey boy stretched out alongside, both relaxed without a rumble or spit, two sensible pusscats.
