Sunspots danced on the rocks underwater as waves lapped over them onto shore. And bubbles on the water surface in white patches, gyrated, broke apart and reformed, as they were pushed along by wind and wave action.

I spent awhile looking for shapes that were interesting, trying to keep sunlight in the frame. I see a rabbit or hare in this one.

I could not predict just what the result would be, with so many factors in play. Shutter speed, wave activity, the amount of bubbles and their shape, all played into it. And it can be addictive; just one more shot might be a masterpiece. Eventually, I had to call it a day.

Extra: Signs Of Life. American tree sparrows playing on the opposite bank.
