Donning Boots

Donning wellingtons today, I went for an explore further in the wetland, beyond where I fell down the gopher hole the other day. I got a few shots there, but preferred this one, looking back out to the lake. I still used the wellies to get down into the water so that I was lower down, making the stump larger in the frame.

I liked the soft, moody clouds and the ripples in the water coming towards the stump. It was fairly breezy at times. This was a 1.1 second shot, blurring the water slightly, unfortunately also some foreground grass. The shape of the water is interesting also.
