Glenesk Viaduct
This railway viaduct (originally built in 1830 ,so one of the oldest in Scotland) crosses the River North Esk on the edge of Ironmills Park in Dalkeith. When we walked the dogs there this morning all of yesterday's snow had gone, but the river was in spate as a result of the melting.
There was , however, still some left on the hills above Loch Lomond and it also got progressively windier as we drove back to Argyll early this afternoon.
