2024 Saturday — Both Sides
We woke-up this morning to rain. I think it had rained for several hours before daybreak and then it was done. Watching the clouds separate and the sky appear was beautiful. Everything felt clean and crisp. Our asphalt street glistened; my car parked outside overnight was wet, but clean; all the foliage sparkled.
Today was a do-nothing day except for accomplishing a thorough vacuuming of the floors in this house. I moved everything so all surfaces got to feel the vibrating brushes of the sucking machine. When I was a little girl, I loved to vacuum. Nowadays not so much. Occasionally I entertain the idea that I would like to have someone who would come clean my house every couple of weeks, and then I am reminded that I have to collect all the clutter first before someone could vacuum and dust. Well, once I have cleared the clutter, as I did today, I might as well do the vacuuming. And so it goes.
November sunsets here on California’s Central Coast really are spectacular. The top photo is looking southwest toward Morro Bay and Morro Rock. The other angle is looking northwest toward Point Cayucos and Point Estero.
Good night from Cayucos
on California’s Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
