Colder, darker, Cosier...

Life is cooling down and getting darker as we move towards December. It's minus 9°C as I write, and today's picture was taken at 15:30 just outside the village, an hour after sunset. The wind has died down after the storm but even the light breeze blowing as we walked introduced a fairly strong chill factor and we soon turned around and headed home again. Back in the garden I cleared snow from the paths, doorways and the kayak tent.
A bit more window sorting indoors, ready for the new windows to arrive. Also sorted out a couple of radiators that had stuck. I lit the log burner and sat in front of the cosy glow, reading a book. It felt very idle, but good!
